Minority Leader calls on Nana Akuffo Addo to Change His Cabinet Ministers, to Move Ghana Forward.

The minority leader Haruna Idrisu has asked the majority leader Osei Kyei Mensah Bonsu to advise the president to reshuffle his cabinet ministers to make the Country move in its right direction.

According to the minority leader, the Country is at a standstill, making living conditions difficult due to the poor performance of the ministers of president Akuffo Addo.

He made these observations during his welcome address to members of Parliament for the first sitting of the second meeting of the second session of the Eighth Parliament of the Fourth Republic.

Meanwhile, the leader of the opposition party in Parliament has served notice to president Akuffo to act swiftly on the development of the reclassification of the Achimota forest and constitute a commission of inquiry to probe the matter for the people of Ghana to know who got what? for what? And how much?

He said it's unfortunate for politicians and ministers to grab properties in the name of the state.

Mr. Haruna indicated that the Executive instrument 144 of the forest Act 1927 issued by the government on the reclassification of the forest is outdated.

Further, he argued that, per the  Land and special Plan Act 926 of 2016,  land zoning and reclassification mandate was not given to the president.
