The Member of Parliament (MP) for Sunyani East Constituency of the Bono Region, Honorable Kwasi Ameyaw-Cheremeh together with the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), Honorable Ansu Kumi, and the Constituency Party Chairman, Mr. Bartholomew Nathaniel Incoom with the other constituency Executives has commissioned two separate projects in the constituency. 

The MP together with his team first ina

inaugurated a 3-unit classroom project at the Abesim SDA Basic School and lastly commissioned a 2-unit KG block with a 4-seater W/C, a shower, an office, a kitchen, and a reservoir at the Police Basic School in Sunyani.

The two projects form part of the numerous classroom projects the MP has championed within his constituency to benefit the school-going children.

 

Speaking at the brief inaugural ceremonies, the MP underscored the importance of education and said is resolved to help enroll all school-going age into the classroom which will be the only way to help the children get a brighter future. He said, "education is very critical in our modern-day life it is the pivot that anchors modern development and so my passion is to get the facilities to augment the other factors that make teaching and learning effectively is one that I would continue to pursue the benefit of our constituency". 

On the Part of the MCE, He touched on the need for a vigorous maintenance culture on the projects whilst lauding the many developmental projects the MP has been executing in the area and promise to continuously hold hands with the MP to ensure complete development in the Constituency.

At the SDA facility, the headmistress of the school touched on the importance of the facility and she described it as crucial and timely by thanking the MP for what he has done.

Speaking on behalf of the Police Basic School, the Bono Regional Commander, DCOP Joseph Gyamerah  Eklu explained how elated they are for the facility given how fast and beautiful the work has been completed 

He explained, “ when I told the IGP, Dr. Akuffo Dampare of your intention, he couldn’t hide his joy as he extends his appreciation to you with tones of encouragement for you to continue on this path.”.

The Municipal Education Director emphasized that “even though I am new in the municipality but when I took over the helm of affairs, your many interventions in the educational sector in our Municipality stood out and I am not surprised you are again making my administration easier and making me feel at home.”
