Tolla A 3 Presby School in dire need of roofing sheets

Tolla  A 3  Presby Primary and JHS  school in the Talensi District in the Upper East Region are slacking in education and other academic activities due to no roof on some of their classroom blocks .

The classroom blocks had their roofs ripped off in a rainstorm in March 2020 and has since seen no repairs.

Soiree news' Abdul Sammed Gurundari visited the school on Sunday, November 7, 2021, and interacted with the Headteacher Mr Francis Tano.

Mr. Tano said the affected block houses the school library, Teachers rest room, a classroom and washrooms. 

“We use one of the rooms as an accommodation but now that its roof has been ripped off, we have to pack inside a classroom”. He said.

The school has other two classrooms with roofs partly ripped  off but pupils are still occupying them.

The school is appealing to philanthropists and stakeholders to assist them with  packets of roofing sheets to fix their building.
