Meagan Good and husband split up after nine years of marriage
Devon disclosed that the 'divorce' decision was taken after much prayer and consideration.

Popular American actress, Meagan Good has announced a split from her husband, DeVon Franklin, after nine years of marriage.
On Wednesday, December 22, 2021, the "Think Like a Man" actress issued a statement alongside her husband on Instagram to announce their separation.
Devon had on Monday, December 20 filed a suit to divorce actress Meagan Good over irreconcilable differences, saying they have been separated since August.
He took to his Instagram page disclosing that the decision was taken after much prayer and consideration.
His post read, “After much prayer and consideration, we have decided to go into our futures separately but forever connected."
“We celebrate almost a decade of marriage together and a love that is eternal. There is no one at fault, we believe this is the next best chapter in the evolution of our love.”
He added that they are “incredibly grateful for the life-changing years we have spent together as husband and wife.”
Devon, in a document stated that neither party should receive spousal support as they have no children together.
Meagan immediately after the news broke out, shared a quote on her Instagram Story on Dec. 20, writing, “Healing is not pretty, but the other side is freaking beautiful.”
Meagan, 40, got engaged to DeVon, a Seventh-day Adventist preacher and movie producer in May 2012. The couple officially tied the knot a month later.
The divorce comes as a shock to many as DeVon still helped promote her Amazon prime series earlier in December.
