Mavis Hawa Koomson In Fresh Trouble -For Making Unguided Comments Against Kasoa Youths

Hundred of youths in Kasoa in the Central Region are boiling with anger at the Member of Parliament (MP) for Awutu Senya East Constituency, Mrs. Mavis Hawa Koomson.
The aggrieved youths who are mostly supporters of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the area could not fathom why the MP would insult them publicly by way of describing them as very lazy people.
On Friday, August 12, 2022 Morning, Adom TV hosted Mrs..... Koomson who doubles as the Minister of, Fisheries and Aquaculture at the segment called " People's Cry."
During the interview, Mr. Koomson stated categorically that Kasoa youths are lazy which was why the majority of them are unemployed.
The Minister made such an unguided statement against the youths at Kasoa after the host asked her how she was tackling youth unemployment in her constituency.
But in a crowded press conference, the
Awutu Senya East National Democratic Congress (NDC) Constituency Executives have descended heavily on the MP for saying that, Kasoa youths are lazy and there was no land for factories.
In a press conference which was addressed by the Awutu Senya East Deputy Constituency Youth Organizer of the NDC, Mr. Nash Adams, the youths called on Mrs. Koomson to create jobs for them as the NPP led by President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo promised during 2020 general elections and stop disgracing the good people of Kasoa.
According to Nash, Mrs. Koomson is rather a disgrace to the people of Kasoa, and called her to render an unqualified apology to the good people of Kasoa.
