Former Liverpool player, Michael Owen has tipped Manchester City to win all four trophies after a scintillating performance against the Champions on Sunday at Anfield.

Pep Guardiola’s side crashed Liverpool by 4-1 and equalled the all-time winning run by an English top-flight side across all competitions, winning each of their last 14 matches.

Liverpool are now fourth on the League table, 10 points behind Manchester City who have a game in hand against Everton.

Owen, who was a pundit on the Premier League after the game tagged Manchester City as a strong force capable of winning every trophy this season.

Pep’s side are already in the knockout stage of the Champions League and stand a chance of advancing further after being drawn against Monchengladbach on February 24, and March 15, 2021.

They have already qualified to the final of the League cup and will play Mourinho’s Spurs on April 25.

Although Owen attributed the Reds heavy loss to injury crises and defensive lapses yet believe City can grab all.

“Yeah, I mean full full credit to Manchester City very good performance, you know to miss a penalty as well and still scored for field doesn't often happen,” Owen said.

“And, yeah, they fully deserve the win, Liverpool, Of course, we can hark back to all the excuses that we've used over overtime. They are missing, big, big players, they have one or two players who have been uncharacteristically poor today.

“But in the end, at the end of the day, you've just got to hold your hands up and say, Manchester City, are a phenomenal, team, and not just the Premier League, they could win all for this season the way they are playing.”
