Olympique Lyon are ready to let go of Memphis Depay to Barcelona in this transfer window.

Ronald Koeman was reported to be interested in working with the Dutchman following their time together on international duties before the manager was appointed by Barcelona.

Depay has a year left on his current contract and the French club have concerns that the player will leave next season for nothing if he is not sold for a fee.

L'Equipe has reported that the Catalan club is interested in the player and are ready to meet Lyon’s demand. The French news outlet added that an offer less than 25m euros for the player will be accepted by Lyon, which has boosted Barca's chances of signing the prolific sc striker.

Friday, October 2, is the deadline set by Jean -Michel Aulas, to barricade any offers and help his side focus on the Ligue 1 season, which means Barcelona have less than three days to strike a deal for the 26-year old after missing out in Lautaro Martinez due to Inter’s hefty demand for the Argentine.

Depay was second on the list should Barcelona refuse to secure a move for Martinez.
