West Ham’s newly appointed manager, David Moyes says he has unfinished business at his former club therefore his appointment is a great opportunity to accomplish it.

Moyes signed an 18-month deal to succeed Manuel Pelligrini and go back to the club with whom he spent six months of the 2017/18 season.

"It’s fabulous to be back," Moyes told the club’s official site. "It feels great to be home.

"I’ve missed being here because I really enjoyed it and I feel like I’ve got unfinished business, so I can’t wait to get started."

Moyes has taken charge of four Premier League clubs. He spent 11 years with Everton before succeeding Sir Alex Ferguson at Manchester United.

The Scot then suffered relegation with Sunderland in 2016/17 but returned to top-flight management with the Hammers, whom he guided out of the bottom three to finish 13th.
