Liverpool’s comeback in overturning a half-time deficit in this year’s Champions League in a group labelled as the group of death might not quite have been the miracle of the Reds clinching the title against AC Milan in the year 2005 but is worth it.

The group of death which includes AC Milan, Liverpool, FC Porto and Spanish Champions Atletico Madrid combine have 15 Champions League titles to their credit which is 7,6,2 and 0 respectively.

Though Atletico Madrid have never won the Champions League before, they have produced a very fine football in the finals coming shortly twice and handling over to Real Madrid in the occasions.

The Reds boss Jurgen Klopp said the group od death would indeed provide excitement ‘from the first minute to the last.
