Liverpool are boosted by the return of key players ahead of the Merseyside Derby on Saturday, October 17, 2020.

The Reds lost by a 7-2 scoreline against Aston Villa before the international break and will welcome three top players who were sidelined due to health factors.

Sadio Mane and Thiago Alcantara were reported to have contracted the novel coronavirus and underwent a two weeks’ isolation whiles Jordan Henderson was unavailable due to a muscle injury.

Liverpool's visit to Goodison Park saw them draw goalless.

Ancelotti’s men this time have attained perfection so far in the Premier League, having won all four of their matches and sit top of the table.

Dominic Calvert Lewin has benefited from the master play of James Rodriguez and is on top of his game with six goals in four appearances.

Thiago is yet to make his full debut after joining Liverpool from Bayern Munich in the transfer window. The versatile midfielder enjoyed a 45-minutes against Chelsea before missing the Reds 3-1 defeat over Arsenal and the latter game.

Sadio Mane, who has three goals to his name missed the Reds game against Villa and will be available for selection.

Henderson is also fit again and played for England in their 2-1 win over Belgium on Sunday.
