The Lagos State Safety Commission (LSC) has announced that it has sealed 33 social facilities such as bars, lounges, restaurants, gyms, hotels, and spas for flouting the state's directives on reopening businesses.

Recall that restaurants and eateries in the state were instructed to operate on a takeout basis as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic to ensure the safety of Lagosians.

Adewumi Okoh, the spokesperson of the commission who disclosed this on Sunday, July 12, in a statement said the facilities were closed during an enforcement exercise.

Okoh said the facilities were sealed for engaging in activities against established protocols by the Lagos state government on reopening the economy.
