The Executive members of the Kwabre East constituency of the ruling New Patriotic Party have called for more developmental projects and a demarcation after hailing President Akuffo Addo for giving them a man of their choice as the next Municipal Chief Executive.

According to them, it's high time they saw developmental projects flooded within their constituency looking at the massive vote and the commitment they show to the NPP government.

Addressing a gathering at a press conference, Hon Tonny Adams, constituency organizer of the party read in a statement that the party was grateful to the president for such a wonderful decision to give them an experienced man to lead the municipality.

According to him, Mr Opoku Agyeman Bonsu, who was the constituency chairman and had served the party in all capacities since 1992 really deserved the new post the president has appointed him for.

They however pledged to support him with their hearts and capacities so that the area experiences massive developmental projects to help make the break the eight agenda a reality.

He however pleaded with the assembly members to give the new man a massive endorsement so that there’s fast development in the area.

Finally, the constituency pleaded with the president to as a matter of urgency flood the area with many developmental projects especially when it comes to roads.

They lamented over their poor roads where they indicated that the constitutional that consecutively topped the whole of Ghana in giving the NPP a massive vote in 2016 and 2020, deserved to be treated like royals.

Talking about its large size, the executives also pleaded with the President to reconsider and divide the area into two so that it can help speed up development in the area.
