Kofi Mulan plans to expand social media entertainment awards

According to the founder, Kofi Mulan, the ever-changing technical environment required an upgrade to include fresh and intriguing elements to the social media sphere.

He also said that SOMEA will soon expand its reach to cover Europe.

He announced this during a phone chat from Accra yesterday. Kofi Mulan assured the public that the Social Media Entertainment Awards would no longer be limited to Ghana, but would also include editions held throughout Europe.

"We are taking SOMEA to a new level. We've gotten numerous comments from Ghanaians and foreigners who wish to be a part of SOMEA.

So, why limit it when there is demand? This may potentially expand into a global awards scheme... So we'll be back, but this time from Europe.

"I'm so excited and can't wait to see how the international audience reacts," he remarked. Kofi Mulan has championed the need to recognize Ghana's youthful achievers with numerous prizes.
