Ronald Koeman will still be the manager of Barcelona next season.

Speculations were revealed that the former Netherlands national team coach will be replaced when Joan Laporta is elected president of the Blaugranas yet after meeting for the first time since his election on Tuesday, the former Everton manager was informed that he'll still be on the Camp Nou bench into the 2021/22 season.

TV3 have reported that the meeting went well, with Mateu Alemany and Ramon Planes also in attendance.

According to reports, although the encounter was informal yet Laporta made his desire for Koeman to stay on at the club clear, meaning his future is guaranteed.

Koeman requested to have the final say on incoming signings going forward, as he wants players that he sees a use for coming into the squad.

What has become clear now is that Koeman has the club's complete confidence.
