Jacinta Aso Ocansey, the Nigerian-Ghanaian comedienne is set to host this year's edition of the Annual April Fool comdey Night 2020

April Fool comedy and Poetry Night is an annual event that seeks to bring together all the biggest names on Ghanaian comedy and poetry. 

Going on for five years now, this years event is set to be held on the 4th of April, 2020 at Carbon, Stanbic Height Airport. 

Jacinta Ocansey will be accompanied by Lekzy Decomic, OB Amponsah, Okokobioko, Parrot Mouth and Shegelabobor with Poetry from Jeffery Nortey and Faiba Bernard.

Ocansey was born in Nigeria to Alex Dzabaku Ocansey and Eucharia Ocansey as their only daughter.

She had her primary education in Nigeria. After writing her West Africa Senior School Certificate Examination and doing a course at NIIT, she moved to Ghana for her tertiary education. In Ghana, she studied Mass Communication at the Pentecost University College.

She is a Nigerian-Ghanaian stand up comedian singer and actress. She has been called "Ghana's only comediennes" and the uncontested "Queen of Ghanaian comedy".

Some of the awards she has won include; Ghana Tertiary Awards 2016 Most zinfluential Student Comedian, Most zpopular Studen and Most Entertaining Student.
