"I'm The Best, No One Paved Way For Me” – Burna Boy Reveals
Popular Nigeria musician Burna boy has left his fans in shock as he reveals what Timaya told him last year.

Self-acclaimed African Giant and Grammy nominee, Burna Boy has declared himself as the ’best‘ musician in Nigeria after Fela Kuti.
The singer made this remark in a round of tweets on Twitter in which he stated that no one paved way for him and he is best thing to happen to the music industry after the demise of Fela Kuti.
His words;
“FACT! I always knew I was and I am THE BEST. Everyone you think is the best KNOWS I’m BEST since Fela Kuti.
"But Timaya told me something a long time ago that made me not care about being the best.
“The World can do without the Best” the world will still spin regardless.
"Lol. NOBODY paved shit for me. Everybody dey find them own. I bin Out here, if you knew the way they made us look weak by begging and paying the western world to like us you will see that no table was set and I’m the one that brought you the Respect you currently enjoy.”
Burna Boy further said that Timaya advised me indirectly but he did not have the idea.
He said: "I was impressed as I heard The music title: The world can do without the best by Timaya. At that point i was even getting tired about my musical Career, So as I heard that song, I have to encouraged myself and move on".
"Timaya released the album last year 2019 and I was getting discouraged before I come across the hit.
He noted that whatever he has now, he worked for it.
