Iyanya : "I didn't realize I was in Yvonne Nelson's memoir when I supported it"
The memoir "I Am Not Yvonne Nelson," written by Ghanaian actress and former girlfriend Iyanya, was approved by the Nigerian artist without his knowledge.

In a recent interview with Lagos-based The Beat FM, Iyanya acknowledged that, at the time of his endorsement, he had no idea what the book contained.
The actress opened up about her relationship with the Nigerian artist in a devoted chapter of her memoir, "Iyanya And My Love Life," which sparked controversy when it was published.
The Princess Tyra actress described her interactions with Iyanya in the aforementioned chapter, alleging that he had an affair with Nollywood actress Tonto Dikeh.
"I endorsed Yvonne Nelson's book without realizing I was in it," he declared. I had no idea that I was in the book, but we were cool and we still chat. Everything was buzzing when the book was out. I was hearing from people that I was in the book. However, I haven't read it yet.
Iyanya stated, "I'm not ready to respond to stuff like that, being me comes with a lot of madness," in response to the accusations, despite the disclosures in the book.
He disclosed that he and the actress are still friendly and keep in regular contact.
The Kukere crooner also admitted to not having read the memoir yet despite the widespread buzz surrounding its release.
