Iyabo Ojo responded, calling the calls for a DNA test "insensitive," in a video message posted to her Instagram page.

She said, "You folks should kindly permit Mohbad's family to mourn despite all these DNA test-related diversions. It is possible for Mohbad's parents to ask for a DNA test. You and I have no authority to order them to submit to a DNA test.

"Mohbad never revealed that his son was not his son to anyone. But if the officers looking into his death believe a DNA test is necessary, they will do so. Please be really sensitive. Why are you guys abusing the poor woman [the wife of Mohbad]? Just let her be.
