Real Madrid’s Zinedine Zidane says the death of Kobe Bryant is a ‘terrible feeling’ the sporting world are undergoing.

It was reported that Basketball legend Kobe Bryant, 41, and 13-year-old daughter Gianna Bryant, died in a helicopter crash Sunday in Calabasas, California which occurred about 30 miles northwest of downtown Los Angeles, the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department said.

When asked about the former NBA’s player’s death, he spoke that,

"It's a terrible feeling," he said.

"It's terrible news that affects us all.

"I can't say anything, it's awful news.

"We're very sorry."

Los Blancos won by a lone goal at the Jose Zorilla stadium against Valladolid which took them to occupy the top spot after Barcelona went astray on Saturday against Valencia by 2-0.

"It was a complicated game against a complicated opponent," he added.

"They'd only lost one game at home and play very well.

"It was important to win."
