The comedic actor recently disclosed his choice on his Youtube channel, Kwadwo Nkansah TV, saying he did so to help ease the strain of the expensive expense of school, which has been a significant struggle for many parents.

Lil Win observed that there were too many families trying to give their kids a proper education because of excessive tuition costs, so he developed a new program to give the needy but bright students access to a quality education at an affordable price.

"Fees are so high at different schools, but they don't offer any quality education to reflect the enormous sums of money they are taking,"Some of these organizations only use the fact that the school is located in Kumasi.

Some people go to school in Kumasi but have nothing to show for it, while others go to school in a far-off hamlet yet have accomplished much in life.

"Since my school, Great Minds, does not compete with any other schools, we are operating it within our budget. You can tell that the school is moving forward because last Friday marked the graduation of the second group of Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) candidates.

Lil Win said, "The only issue right now is that we don't have enough buses, but we are working on it to make it easier for students to travel from the different townships to town."

In a Facebook post to congratulate his students on writing this year's B.E.C.E. last Friday, August 11, Lil Win prayed for them.

“#greatminds Congratulations to my 2nd Batch

Adom Nhyira mo….. It’s my prayer God Protect you all

We proud of you …. Great minds loves you all

Thanks to the school management and teachers…. #wezzyempire #greatminds”, he posted.
