Our Collective Welfare Is My Top Most Priority–Queenstar Pokuah Sawyerr Assures Agona East Residents
According to the National Democratic Congress (NDC) MP, the collective welfare system of the constituents is her top most priority, adding that she was working vigorously to fulfill all campaign promises.

The Member of Parliament (MP) for Agona East Constituency in the Central Region, Mrs. Queenstar Maame Pokuah Sawyerr, has expressed optimism in her ability to continue to implement the social protection programs which would help individuals and families to escape poverty, mitigate and manage risks, and improve resilience.
According to the National Democratic Congress (NDC) MP, the collective welfare system of the constituents is her top most priority, adding that she was working vigorously to fulfill all campaign promises.
She pointed out that the promises she made to the constituents were not for political power but development of the area.
Mrs. Pokuah Sawyerr who was speaking to a enthusiastic crowd of supporters, members of the NDC including chiefs and people of Agona East in separate events held on Saturday July 1, 2023 in Agona Nsaba, Ninta and Nantifa reiterated her commitment to building a new Agona East where constituents would live in peace and prosperity.
Mrs. Pokuah Sawyerr used one of the platform of the events to celebrate her birthday which she has started with praise and worship to God whom her was so thankful to.
Giving the details of the three programmes she held, Mrs. Pokuah Sawyerr writes that; "First was at Agona Nsaba Omanhene's palace where Nananom of the Nsaba Traditional Council sat in state to receive the Ghana's incoming President John Dramani Mahama, my self, my executives and the high powered entourage which included the Central Regional Chairman and some of his executives, as well as the history making Assin North MP, Mr James Gyakye Quayson.
According to her, "From the palace, the team proceeded to the Presby Park which was filled with branch executives, party members and other stakeholders where JM assisted me to launch a novel welfare package for party executives and party members in my Constituency.
This package is christened “3NAPA Y3” which simply is a donation of a Bus and vehicles fully paid for by myself for my Constituency and Branch executives.
This will generate revenue for the running of the constituency!
Next was the ground breaking ceremony for the construction of a community center for the people of Agona Ninta and incidentally, yesterday was the first and only time a former President or a Flagbearer has visited that place, the euphoria and their resolve to increase the presidential and Parliamentary votes come 7th December, 2024 was High.
Led by my Regional Chairman Prof Asiedu who is also an indigene of my Constituency, we proceeded to Agona Nantifa where we inspected the progress of work on the ongoing construction of an Astro,with the contractors briefing JM and MYSELF on the project which is 40% done.
Then finally to Agona Kwanyako where the birthday cake was cut, to thank GOD for everything.
