Adu Safowaah has expressed her readiness to leave her stamp on the project, even though she is hoping for overwhelming support from Ghanaians throughout.

Speaking with Graphic Showbiz, she indicated that she was psychologically and spiritually prepared for the work that lay ahead.

"I'm ready, spiritually and graciously. I'm in good physical, mental, and emotional health. Magic Hands Ghana, my management, has performed admirably for me. She continued, "And for that reason alone, I don't want anything or anyone to demotivate me.

Recently, a number of Ghanaians have expressed concern regarding the length of time it has taken Guinness World Records to verify the submissions from Afua Asantewaa's sing-a-thon and Chef Faila's cook-a-thon.

Afua Asantewaa, for example, disclosed in a recent interview that she had paid $750 to expedite the verification process in her effort to set a Guinness World Record.

Adu Safowaah told Graphic Showbiz that while the current event may cause her great concern—given the possibility that her efforts will go in useless if Guinness World Records rejects her verification—she is not now concerned about it.

"Everything is coming to a halt in preparation for my marathon. There is a Guinness World Record holder for the longest speech marathon by an individual, which makes every Ghanaian pleased. I've been treated well by people.

"From the start, God's hands, in their unadulterated kindness and mercy, have spoken for my marathon. In the end, a woman from Ghana sets the world record for the longest speaking marathon. That's what counts in my opinion," she said.
