I'M A Young Man Who Is A Doer, Others Are Promisers -NDC Upper West Akim Parliamentary Hopeful, Enoch Ansah P1 Declares
Mr. Ansah stressed that he is the only best candidate who is capable to lead the NDC in Upper West Akim Constituency into the 2024 general elections to wrestle the parliamentary seat from New Patriotic Party (NPP) Member of Parliament (MP).

The Saturday May 13, 2023 parliamentary primaries of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Upper West Akim Constituency in the Eastern Region is a keen competition and delegates and members of the NDC must choose a "doer" not "promisers" who never fulfilled anything, the potential NDC Parliamentary Hopeful of the Upper West, Mr. Enoch Ansah P1, has stated.
The young famous NDC politician holds a strong view that other candidates who are contesting the primaries with him are promisers.
Mr. Ansah stressed that he is the only best candidate who is capable to lead the NDC in Upper West Akim Constituency into the 2024 general elections to wrestle the parliamentary seat from New Patriotic Party (NPP) Member of Parliament (MP).
Speaking in an interview with the Soireenews. com, Mr. Ansah called on the delegates and members of the NDC in the constituency to vote for him to become the Parliamentary Candidate for the party come Saturday May 13, 2023.
According to him, winning the seat in the general elections in 2024 requires a solid person that has the ability and capacity to win the seat.
He stressed that his track records and achievements had put him ahead of all the other competitors in the party’s parliamentary race in the constituency.
Mr Ansah added that t he is only person who can win the slot and subsequently win the seat for the NDC in the 2024 general election to provide jobs for teeming unemployed youths in the Upper West Akim, "so the choice for you is a clear one."
Mr. Ansah stated that categorically that the delegates and members should be mindful that voting for him to win the primaries would be in the supreme of the party since their wouldn't be wasted.
"Currently, the Upper West Constituency seat was occupied by NPP Member of Parliament (MP), Frederick Obeng Adom who won the 2020 election with 21,863 vote margins, represented 51.98% as against the NDC Parliamentary Candidate, Mr. Derek Ohene Assifo Bekoe who garnered 20,196 votes represented 48.02%.
"This seat which was won by the NPP in the 2020 general election has been occupied by NDC since 1992 and the NDC with President John Dramani won 21,694 votes, represented 52.49% as against the Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo who got 19,060 votes, being represented by 46.11% but we lost seat with little over 1,500 votes and that would tell you that there are skirts and blouses voting that went on.
"So this time around, presenting a very youthful person like me [Enoch Ansah P1] to lead the NDC in the 2024 general elections would definitely help the NDC to sweep the votes in which the party has lost in the previous general elections.
"Because of the youth factor in the 2020 general election in the constituency, it was evidenced that the majority of the youths were lured to believe the agenda of Frederick Obeng Adom who was then NPP parliamentary candidate in the election 2020. So this time around , myself be a very young person will also help bring back the youths who were swept to the NPP by the fact that Frederick Obeng Adom is a very young person who is being presented by the NPP to win the constituency parliamentary seat in the 2020 general elections" he explained.
He indicated that over the past years he has played a very instrumental and a pivotal role in NDC in the Upper West Akim Constituency.
According to Mr Ansah, he has managed the various past campaigns,nurtured most youths to take up positions in the party and has contributed immensely both in resources and in kind towards the betterment of the party in the constituency.
"As young as he is, he has been very vocal, brave, fearless and have faced the Elephant brothers within the Constituency at all levels. He is the Household name in the Constituency so far (P1),she noted.
He indicated that he is a Unifier and the only person who after emerging as the next Parliamentary Candidate for the party can unite the party for battle in the 2024 general election come December 7.
According to Mr Ansah, he is the sole candidate to bring every faction together with ease for victory 2024, because he has worked with all past MPs, Party Chairmen and all other stakeholders within the Constituency. He is our surest BET!!
"I am the home boy who has served the NDC grassroot in the constituency since he was born but came to the limelight in the constituency since 2010 and has been very consistent, affable, result oriented, team player, committed, resourceful and his humility is second to none," he noted.
He added that the "Policy and its delivery in UWAC, Enoch Ansah P1 shall touch on Education, Agriculture, Health care,the Youth must survive project, the grassroot project, the aged service condition (ASC), and soft loan opportunities to the grassroots etc. I don't just talk, I say I do."
