IGP Alert: Three Police Officers With Tema Kanawu Police Station Beat Up Civilian Employee Of Ghana Police Service To Pulp Over Girlfriend

THE VIRAL video on how the arrogant polices led by the Lance Corporal Lance Dominic Asante who stationed at Kanawu Police Station in the Tema West Municipality of the Greater Accra Region to subject an civilian employee of the Ghana Police Service at the same station to severe beatings has popped up, amidst tension, fear and panic.
In a video, the victim, Mr Cecil Love Anyongmor was beaten unconscious by Lance Corporal Asante together with his colleague police officers over the girl friend of Lance Corporal Asante.
The unprofessional police officers even after putting the victim under control still went ahead using a shocker on the victim.
These attitudes of the three police officers have dented the image of the Ghana Police Service and also questioned the credibility of these police officers.
The heartbreaking incident which occured a couple of weeks ago at Kanawu in the Tema Community 23 was officially reported to the Police Intelligence and Professional Standard Bureau(PIPS) in Accra, but since the case has been reported, the PIPS was reported to have been delaying the matter.
The unprofessional conduct of the police officers with the PIPS who are handling the case has informed the decision of family of the victim, Cecil Love Anyongmor to make passionate appeal to the Inspector General of Police (IGP), Dr George Akuffo Dampare to intervene in the matter to ensure the justice prevails.
According to the information to TV Democrat, a girlfriend of a police officer with the Kanewu Police Station took her mobile phone to a phone repairer at Kanewu for repair
The souces noted that she then reported the phone repairer to her police officer boyfriend for delay and the phone repairer was arrested by the boyfriend to the Kanewu police station where he was asked to go and fix the phone for the lady.
On getting to the shop from the police station in the company of the lady and his brother they met the victim in this video who has his phone with the phone repairer for a while and as such he told the phone repairer to fix his phone first as first come first serve.
This did not go down well with the police man's girlfriend and as such she told the victim to be careful or she would call her boyfriend Asante.
The victim then asked her what has the issue got to do with the police officer and besides what would the police do?
She reportedly called her boyfriend police officer who also came with his colleagues to arrest the victim just to please the girlfriend.
