Barcelona’s new manager, Ronald Koeman has rebuffed Ousmane Dembele exit rumours from the club.

The former Dortmund player has been linked with a move to Manchester United as an alternative for Jadon Sancho.

The Red Devils €100m bid for the 20-year-old was rejected by the Bundesliga club on Tuesday quenching Manchester United’s hope of landing the prolific forward before the window shuts on Monday.

Dembele, who joined Barcelona for €105 million, plus a reported €40 million add-ons in 2017 penned a five-year deal with his buyout clause set at €400 million yet injuries have hampered the winger from performing at the highest for the Blaugranas.

“But he is with us and as we've seen in recent weeks I am counting on him…. he has to wait to play but he is training well, getting fitter.

“I want to say that I am counting on him.”
