Sadio Mane has revealed the reason for his bust up against Mohamed Salah.

Mane was fueled with fury in Liverpool fourth fixture of the Premier League against Burnley. The Reds although won the game 3-0 against the Clarets yet Mane’s outburst made the headlines on the matchday after Salah snubbed him a few times in a better goal scoring position.

Mane squeezed out his frustration on his way to the sidelines following a sub off. Although Salah’s ‘selfishness’ was the whispered thought by the media yet the reason behind was still between the two.

Klopp downplayed the incident after the game when asked but he defended the Egyptian and insisted on a quick neglect by the media as the week pass by.

"I could describe five or six situations where everyone thought, 'pass it, pass it, pass it' and then he scored," the German said, as quoted by the Daily Express.

"So, that is the freedom of the player. The boys have to make these decisions: pass the ball, don't pass the ball.

"We can make this mistake. You can lose the ball and miskick the ball or sometimes you cannot see your teammate.

"It is not that you ignore him. Sometimes, to us, it looks like you must see him but you don't.

"It is not a big challenge, but, of course, with a striker always you can have this. What you do depends on the situation.

"We will leave it 100% because we won 3-0 and everyone goes away in different directions. In one week I don't think I will talk about it again."

According to Sadio Mane in an interview with Canal Plus, the reaction was a bit strange but it was an expression of his desire to help the team.

Mane told Canal Plus: 'He said to me "Sadio, why are you angry?" I told him, "You needed to give me the ball, Mo", to which he replied, "I didn't see you. You know I've got nothing against you".
