How three criminals managed to get out of jail while singing praises and worship

Three suspects in police custody in the Talensi District of the Upper East Region for alleged defilement and other crimes have escaped, according to authorities of the Ghana Police Service in the area.

According to a police situational report, while on duty at the charge office, Sergeant Lariba Abilba, Constable Kichekpa Ju Napoleon Banu, and Constable Ntiamoah Elizabeth heard cell inmates Fatwas Musah, a juvenile remand prisoner, Francis Dabang, a suspect in a defilement case, and Kwadwo Dinaya, another suspect in custody for stealing, singing praises and worship.

The cell got quiet after a while, according to the report.

To her dismay, when one of the police went to investigate the cell, she discovered that the inmates had taken a block from the cell wall in the lavatory.

The inmates, on the other hand, fled from legal custody.

Meanwhile, soldiers have been dispatched to aid in the search for the fugitives, while an armed guard who collapsed following the event is being treated at the Tongo District hospital.
