Borussia Dortmund advanced into the quarter-finals of the Champions League after a 2-2 scoreline at the Stadion Dortmund.

Erling Haaland scored in both halves to help his side qualify 5-4 on aggregate following their earlier 3-2 win in Spain.

Sevilla started the game strongly but could not convert their chances before the hosts finally settled in the game.

Haaland gave Dortmund the lead in the 35-minute; Sevilla lost possession playing out from the back. Dahoud pinged a perfectly-weighted ball through to Reus, who chased it to the byline, before cutting it back to Haaland, who steered it home.

The Norwegian doubled the advantage from the spot after a foul by Jules Kounde on the Norwegian. The 20-year-old fired it low into Bounou's bottom-left corner to double Dortmund's lead and claim his 10th goal of the campaign.

Sevilla heated into the game and had their efforts rewarded by a penalty kick after Emre Can’s pushed De Jong in the box and was flashed with the yellow card.

Youssef En-Nesyri stepped up and reduced the deficit for the visitors.

the Spaniards kept fighting for two goals to earn them qualification and never gave up until En-Nesyri headed in a crossing by Rakitic at injury time but the time was not enough to grant them a third.

Erling Haaland was voted man of the match.
