Gomoa and Effutu are neither on Clash nor War with MP

Nana Apata Kofi IV has debunked the assertion that was made by Omanhen of Gomoa Ajumako Traditional Council, Obrempon Yanful Krampa XI, citing that Hon Alexander Afenyo Markin has taken over Gomoa lands.

The Odikro of Gomoa- Pomadze in the Central Region, Nana Apata Kofi IV, has set the records straight on the issues at stake between the people of Gomoa and Effutu agitating to conflicts.

Briefing the media on recent developments on land issues at Gomoa between traditional leaders and the Member of Parliament of Effutu Constituency, Hon Alexander Afenyo Markin, the  Odikro said, Nananom are the agent of development and he(Nana Apata Kofi IV) can not avoid the Member of Parliament on constructing a modern Police station at new Winneba and other projects.

He therefore noted, the renovation of the Winneba roundabout to suit its statue is an agreement between the Gomoa-Pomadze and Effutu to uplift the beautification of the region.

Nana Apata Kofi IV debunked the assertion that was made by Omanhen of Gomoa Ajumako Traditional Council, Obrempon Yanful Krampa XI, citing that Hon Alexander Afenyo Markin has taken over Gomoa lands which can easily result in clashes and war.

He made known that, as the overlord of Gomoa-Pomadze, the Omanhen did not consult him on the press conference against the member of Parliament. He further denied any tensions within the people of Gomoa and Effutu.
