Thousands of concerned Ghanaians believed that a thorough investigation into the flouting of the ban on drumming and noisemaking in the Ga State of the Greater Accra Region, which led to the fines being imposed on the six churches, will reveal important details about from more faith based institutions which have gone contrary to the Ga directives.

They strong believed that if the Ga Traditional Council (GTC) headed by Ga Mantse, His Royal Majesty King Tackie Teiko Tsruru II properly examined the activities of the churches during the period of the ban, it will help the GTC to get more information about many recalcitrant churches in the Accra metropolis.

The GTC has fined the Saint Margaret Mary Catholic Church, SSNIT Flat; Faith Independent Baptist Church; Presbyterian Church of Ghana, Abeka-Lapaz; Winners Chapel International, Head Office; the Church of Pentecost, Kaneshie Branch and Pure Fire Miracle Ministries International, Kisseman for flouting the ban on drumming and noise-making observed by the Ga State.
The GTC has given these faith based organisations have up to one week (June 26) each to pay a fine of GH¢3,000, one sheep and one box of Castle Bridge Gin.
Failure to do so would attract further punitive measures, according to the GTC headed by Ga Mantse, His Royal Majesty King Tackie Teiko Tsuru II.

The one-month ban on all forms of noise-making and drumming in Accra commenced from May 15, 2023, to June 15, 2023, as part of preparations for the celebration of the Homowo festival by the Ga people.
The ban affects any form of noise-making, including the use of loudspeakers, drums, tambourines, funeral rites, and roadside evangelism.
The Ga Wulomo in charge of the Task Force, Numoo Nikoi Amasah II told  Soireenews.com that two of the six churches – the Church of Pentecost, Kaneshie Branch and Pure Fire Miracle Ministries International, Kisseman, who failed to show up before the Council are still bound by the fine.
The Ga traditional ruler urged citizens to take a cue from the case and observe the traditions and rules that governed the Ga State.
“Anyone who visits another country or state should endeavour to obey and observe their laws and traditions so that he or she won’t get into trouble. We are all one people so, let’s endeavour to always observe the ban to foster peace and unity amongst us all,” he said.
In an interview with Soireenews.com, the scores of Ghanaians have expressed their supports for the decision being taken by the Ga traditional rulers to impose fine on these aforementioned churches to serve as deterrent to other churches.
Sounded religious, the concerned Ghanaians
stated that they thought that some of the churches which flouted the ban on the noise making in Ga State did not understand the worshipping of the almighty God.
"Somebody is having festival or traditional ceremony to perform customs and traditions to appease their gods and that there are traditional rules and regulations governed by these customary rites.
"So as a church which is staying on the land of this traditional area didn't have any right or power to disobey the rules and regulations of this traditional authorities of that traditional area of where the churches are having their activities," Ghanaians warned.
They pointed out that "So therefore when you go to Holy Bible, Jesus accepts most of the traditional orders.
They recalled that; "There was a time, when they asked for a tax, and Jesus asked the disciples of God to the see and open the mouth of a fish so when they have the money, they used it to pay their tax."
According to them," This is because the authority accepted to do that so for us we don't understand these  churches which failed to disobey the rules and regulations of the Ga Traditional authority in that regard."
However they thought that the the fines which were imposed on these churches to pay, can rather be used to do something better than things.
"So it doesn't mean that you are worshipping God so you are not afraid of anything and you aren't going to abide by the rules and regulations of the traditional authorities of where you are doing your church activities. This behavior of the churches are completely unaccepted and all and sundry must stand up to speak again it," they fumed.
"We are calling all Ghanaians to come together and condemned these Churches which have disaboyed the rules and regulations of the Ga traditions and customs," they stressed.
During the oldest days, according to Ghanaians, it has emerged that the Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego have spirits and powers of God, but these personalities equally obyed the rules and regulations of the traditional authorities.
"So how dare you as the churches which are operating in the land of the Ga Traditional Area have refused to disobey the traditional rules and regulations of the people of Ga.
"...so for us we didn't agree with these churches to behave in that unrespectful ways," they jabbed the leaderships of these six churches.
