Ghana Most Beautiful 2021 winner pledge support for Akrokeri schools.

The school which was established in 1961 with mud is on the verge of collapsing should any downpour takes place.

Akrokeri Methodist school, a basic school located at Akrokeri in the Adansi north district of the Ashanti region was established 110 years ago.

Speaking to Emmanuel Owusu, headteacher of the school he disclosed that the school currently lacks infrastructure which had to compel teachers to create a temporal structure for class three pupils to study under.

He said they are forced to fail a majority of class two pupils who make it through to class three in promotional examination because the structure made for class three can not contain more than twenty pupils.

It is estimated that at least 20 pupils will be failed in the coming exams due to a lack of infrastructure which teachers think will affect students negatively.

The situation is not different from the Akrokeri D/A basic school.
