Gasmilla claims his interest is not on releasing popular music

The hitmaker for Telemo, Gasmilla, has said that if there was one thing he would never do in his career as a musician, it would be to give in to pressure to release hits.

Gasmilla claims his interest is not on releasing popular music

He stated that he will not be intimidated into releasing songs only for the purpose of doing so in a recent interview with Graphic Showbiz.

"I don't rush to make quick songs," he said. I painstakingly compose each piece of music, taking my time. Making music that listeners will like for a very long time is my aim.

Gasmilla, who is recognized for hits such as Telemo, Aboodatoi, and Ak3rsomorshi, among others, told Graphic Showbiz that his goal goes beyond simply putting out hits; he wants to write music that future generations will be proud of.

Additionally, Gasmilla strongly cautioned music lovers and industry participants against the practice of classifying musicians into particular genres or styles.

In a recent interview with Graphic Showbiz, he made the point that artists are more creative when they are allowed to experiment and grow into other musical genres rather than being boxed into one.

"I don't think musicians should be restricted to a certain genre. That one act is the death of creativity. For instance, I might be able to use my abilities to delve into new territory and test my artistic prowess.

"If I stick to one musical genre, my creativity will suffer. In actuality, we have to stop claiming that this artist belongs in this area or that location alone, as it kills creativity, according to Gasmilla.
