Fire guts a salon and 3 bedrooms at Krofrom
Mr. Mensah says he quickly called in for police protection to enable them do their job in safety.

Three bedrooms in a compound house, a refrigerator reapair shop and a salon were destroyed in a fire outbreak at Krofrom in Kumasi.
The fire which started aronud 2:30pm was brought under control by the fire station at Tech.
The Tech fire station officer, ADO1 Eric Mensah says residents were agitated upon arrival and even tried to stop them from dousing the flames, claiming that the firefighters delayed in attending to the situation. Mr. Mensah says he quickly called in for police protection to enable them do their job in safety.

He added that the cause of the fire is unknown, however investigations are underway.
He advised the public to exercise patience during fire outbreaks and also cooperate with the firefighters.
