Fiapre Youth Association eulogizes chief over appointment  

Fiapre Youth Association has eulogized Obrempong Professor Kyem-Amponsah II, Chief of Fiapre, on his appointment as the substantive Vice-Chancellor of Ghana Communication Technology University in Accra.

On March 5 and 6, this year the tertiary institution through its council appointed the chief, known in private life as Professor Emmanuel Ohene-Afoakwa, as the substantive Vice–Chancellor for an initial four-year term with effect from March 1.

The youth in a statement signed by its president, Nathaniel Sefa, indicated that even though they are enthused and excited about the chief’s achievement, “it comes as no surprise since we have witnessed his passion and relentless efforts towards making education accessible to many needy people.

FIAPRE YOUTH ASSOCIATION EULOGIZE OBREMPONG PROFESSOR KYEM-AMPONSAH II

With the greatest respect and honor, the leadership of Fiapre Youth Association would like to take this opportunity to congratulate Obrempong Professor Kyem-Amponsah II (alias Professor Emmanuel Ohene-Afoakwa), Chief of Fiapre Traditional Area on his appointment as the substantive Vice-Chancellor of Ghana Communication Technology University. Leaders and members of the association lauds you for yet another great step taken in your quest to serve and ensure the provision of quality education to the good people of this country.

On March 5 & 6, 2021, the Ghana Communication Technology University through its council appointed Professor Emmanuel Ohene-Afoakwa as substantive Vice-Chancellor of the University for an initial four-year term with effect from March 1, 2021, to February 28, 2025. Prior to his appointment, Professor Afoakwa was serving as the President of the University College and Interim Vice-Chancellor. Even though we are enthused and excited about this new achievement, it comes as no surprise to us, because we have witnessed your passion and relentless efforts towards making education accessible to many people who can and cannot afford it.

The Leadership and members of the association are in awe of your outstanding achievements and higher heights attained both in academia and development of Fiapre Township. As the Chief of Fiapre Traditional Area, you have exhibited wise leadership, dedication, commitment, and endless service towards the people of Fiapre. Scholarship and Job opportunities, provision of quality education, supporting households, maintaining peace and harmony are the few but essential developmental measures undertaken by Professor Afoakwa in your early stage of leading the Fiapre Traditional Authority.

As Youth of Fiapre Township, we are proud of your consistent hard work and achievements in recent times. Undoubtedly you are an inspiration and role model to us as we seek to climb higher heights in our career path.  It is our hope that the Almighty God continues to bestow His precious blessings, guidance, and wisdom upon your life as you journey through another phase of your leadership impact.
