A humble appeal to the government and other stakeholders to complete a dormitory project that has been abandoned for years.

Students and authorities of Adankwaman Senior High School in the Assin South District of the Central Region have made a humble appeal to the government and other stakeholders to complete a dormitory project that has been abandoned for years.

According to the School, the project which was awarded to two different contractors in 2010 has been left to rot.

The Assemblyman of Assin Darmang, Osei Yaw Daniel told doing that, the project was first given to Mr. Kwamena Walker, “started with the ground floor but it was later given to Chairman Buttery”

According to Assemblyman Osei Yaw, chairman Buttery has most of his building materials on site. “He even started raising pillars but has also left the project.

He further explained that most of the students are now studying under pavilions since their classrooms have been converted to dormitories. “The enrollment of the school has also been reduced drastically. The school used to admit about 600 to 700 annually but admitted less than 200 students last year.

He finally pleaded with the government and other stakeholders to the school’s aid and help complete the project.
