Fetish Priest Shoots Friend’s Testicles over a Woman at Dwenewoho.

A 39-year-old fetish Priest is in the custody of the Mankranso Police for allegedly shooting a man's testicles in a fight over a woman at Dwenewoho in the Ahafo Ano South West District of the Ashanti Region.

The victim, Kwasi Peter, 25, was said to have been shot by the suspect after he was accused by the victim of having sexual relations with his wife.

Speaking to the media, the victim, Kwasi Peter said he confronted the priest after seeing him with his wife in an awkward position on several occasions which the suspect denied having affair with his wife.

“I never believed the rumors about the affair between the priest and my wife until I saw the two going on errands on several occasions mostly around 11-pm in the night”. He said.

“I confronted the suspect when my wife’s attitude towards me confirmed her affair with the priest but he planned to shoot me in the process for questioning him with the affair with my wife“

“This is not the first time he’s sleeping with a married woman, we have evidence of his acts in our community and so I could not sit down for him to destroy my marriage, “ he said.

The suspect who has only been identified as Okomfo Raster according to eye witness shot the victim with a single barrel gun.

While Kwasi Peter is currently receiving treatment of his wounds at the Mankranso Government Hospital, the suspect is currently in the grip of the police assisting investigations.

Meanwhile, some area irate boys who were infuriated by the incident have also burned down the house of the priest.

The Assembly Member of the area, Hon. Emmanuel Kobi Tumfour also confirmed this to the media and said calm has since been restored in the community following the arrest of the Priest.
