Update Female Police  Officer Who Was  Crushed To Death Married Six Months Ago

Married to her husband, Mr Francis Yeboah who is an civilian, the deceased has not given birth before her untimely death amidst tears of family and sympathisers who had gathered at the husband house at Gomoa Dominase   to receive a three member- delegation from the Ghana Police Administration.

A 29-year-old Police Constable Comfort Febiri who has been crushed to death whilst on duty at a Police checkpoint at Gomoa Potsin on the Kasoa-Winneba Highway around 2 am on Tuesday, January 2, 2022 night was reported to have performed her wedding ceremony in September 2021.

 
Married to her husband, Mr.. Francis Yeboah who is a civilian, the deceased has not given birth before her untimely death amidst tears of family and sympathizers who had gathered at the husband house at Gomoa Dominase 
 to receive a three-member- delegation from the Ghana Police Administration.
 
The police administration has sent a delegation from the national headquarters to visit the husband, the accident scene, and the Dominase police station where the deceased was officially stationed until her demise.
The delegation who was led by COP Nathan Kofi Boakye announced that the police administration shall cater for the funeral cost of the deceased. 
He said a delegation has been sent to the Jinijini hometown of the deceased in the Bono region to have her family officially informed.
He asked the husband and neighbors to take solace in the Lord.
Meanwhile, a team of psychologists has been assigned to the husband as well as colleague officers of the deceased.
The Police Constable Comfort Febiri has been crushed to death by a 34-year-old driver whilst on duty at a Police checkpoint.
The remains of the deceased have since been deposited at the police hospital morgue.
The unfortunate incident occurred at a Police snap checkpoint at Gomoa Potsin on the Kasoa-Winneba Highway around 2 am on Tuesday.
Speaking in an interview with Soireenews.com via a telephone call to give details information about the incident, the Deputy Commander of Central East Police Regional Command Headquartered at Millennium City,  Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP), Mr. Oduro Amaning confirmed the accident and stated that the driver, Francis Anane from Accra to Tarkwa caused the accident.
According to the senior police officer, 
a speeding driver of a Toyota van with registration number GS 5746- 20 loaded with plastic cones, whilst approaching the barrier from the Kasoa section, failed to stop even though he was signaled to do so by the police at the checkpoint and eventually crashed the mounted barricade against the policewoman.
The news, he said has saddened officers with the Gomoa Dominase District Police Command since the barrier, he confirmed, was established just last week after a series of robbery cases were recorded on the said highway.
He stated that the accident resulted in severe damage to the skull of the victim resulting in instant death.
Francis Yeboah is the husband of the deceased who has since been left in a hysterical mood when the news was broke to him, has described his wife’s death as terrible.
According to him, they got married in September last year, and could never envisage losing his wife in such a tragic manner.
The news has saddened officers with the Gomoa Dominase District Police Command since the barrier, they say, was established just last week after a series of robbery cases were recorded on the said highway.
Meanwhile, the Central East Regional Police Commanders have visited the deceased’s home to commiserate with her husband.
