THE MUNICIPAL Chief of Ejisu in Ashante Rgion, Mr Samuel Oduro Frimpong as part of his commitment to make Ejisu one of the cleanest city in Ghana has embarked on 18th edition of clean up exercise throughout the Ejisu enclaves with a call on resident to exemplify the spirit of cleanliness which is next to godliness.
According to Mr Frimpong, Ejisu is known as one of the busiest community in the whole Ashanti region due to it three times market day observation and for that matter as an assembly there is the need to come out with strategic plans to make sure the Ejisu is save from bad environment.
He stressed that "is why I have decided to embark on clean up exercise regularly to make the environment clean and healthy."
Speaking to the newsmen in a clean up exercise organized by the Ejisu Municipal Assembly in collaboration of St. Louis international School as part of the school 25 anniversary ceremony, Mr Frimpong said cleanliness is very important to all of us so as Ghanaians irrespective of where you find yourself there is the need to involve ourselves in cleanliness and that is the best way we can move this country forward.
