Kaakyire Kwame Fosu has refuted the claim that secular artistes are different from gospel artistes.

The Hiplife artiste stated that all artistes are doing the work of God, whether knowingly or unknowingly.

He also mentioned that he could be headed into the ministry soon while speaking in an interview with Dr Cann on Happy 98.9 FM’s Showbiz Xtra.

“I believe every artist is a prophet and we are all doing God’s work”.

According to the artiste, he made a pact with God in 2007 to put at least one gospel song on every album he released.

“And right from then till now, I have done just that”.

“Don’t be surprised if you soon see me on a pulpit preaching to a congregation. It is going to happen very soon so people should take note”.

He asked his fans to be prepared for the transition, as it might most likely shock them.

“I think the categorization in music makes it look like an artist is supposed to sing just one genre or just do one particular thing. But like I earlier said, every musician is a prophet and there is nothing wrong with me being a Pastor”.

The artiste, who turned 40th on Valentine’s Day, February 14, marked the celebration by making a donation to the Trinity Home Academy in the Akuapem North Municipality.

The items donated worth GHC 10,000 include bags of rice, cartons of cooking oil, soft drinks, and other foodstuffs.

“I want to thank God for adding another year to my age and it is a very significant milestone in my life. I decided to dine with these young ones and also inspire them considering their situation and also give them these items to support their daily living," he said.
