Election 2020: MCE expresses satisfaction at Old Tafo Constituency's serene Atmosphere

The Old Tafo Constituency has begun Electoral proceedings and activities has been peaceful so far.

The constituency, contested by three candidates is so among one of the serene atmospheres with the various measures put in place for people entitled to vote.

Ekow Vincent Asafua of the New Patriotic Party, Sammudeen Mohammed Kamil of the National Democratic Congress and Patience Owusu Ansah of the Great Consolidated Popular Party are vying for the Parliamentary seat.

The Municipal Chief Executive of Od Tafo, Honorable Fred Obeng is content at the Electoral Commission and Security measures put in place to preserve tranquillity at every polling station.

He has therefore commended voters for observing the various education embarked for a peaceful election.

"I appreciate the efforts of the Electoral Commission and security personnel on the measures put in place for this elections.  I have toured the constituency and everything is going as arranged.

"The citizens have done their best to adhere to the rules and I am very happy. I believe by 5 pm, activities would end peacefully and victory will be for Ghana," he said.

The Old Tafo Constituency has 142 polling stations and has 64,722 expected voters.
