Warm up at Anfield

Mohamed Salah and Diogo Jota have been included in the starting line up of Liverpool’s Carabao Cup fixture against Arsenal at Anfield.

The Reds played the Gunners on Monday night in the Premier League and were 3-1 winners.

The two sides face each other for the second time this week at Anfield.

Rhys Williams keeps his place at the heart of defence, with the Reds naming seven of the same starting line-up from that game.

Most of the changes come in attack, where Diogo Jota makes a first start alongside Mo Salah, with Harry Wilson - linked with a move away from the club before Monday's deadline - in midfield, and James Milner at left-back.

Arteta names a strong lineup to face the Reds.

Cedric Soares comes in for a first appearance since the Community Shield win - against Liverpool - while Gabriel also comes back in after sitting out the last couple of games. Further forward, Granit Xhaka retains his place from Monday's defeat, with Dani Ceballos joining him and Joe Willock in what looks like a three-man midfield.
