Edison Cavani hands in a transfer request
Cavani's contract expires at the end of the season
Edison Cavani is reported to have handed in a transfer request.
Atletico chief executive Miguel Angel Gil Marin met with PSG president Nasser Al Khelaifi in Paris on Tuesday to discuss a deal for Cavani, but Leonardo says their offer was rejected.
Edinson Cavani has been linked with Manchester United, Skysports wrote and the 32-year-old Uruguay international’s contract expires at the end of the season and he is free to talk to foreign clubs.
Cavani is also a target for Mikel Arteta's Arsenal and according to El Chiringuito, the Gunners submitted an offer to Paris Saint-Germain for the striker.

Leonardo after last night's win at Lorient revealed that: “We've always said the same thing. We were hoping he would stay with the club, but today he asked to leave. We’re studying the situation. We've had a proposal from Atletico Madrid, but that proposal was not commensurate with the player's value."
Leonardo also revealed there has been no move - publicly, anyway - for Layvin Kurzawa from Arsenal.
