DVLA Declares On Unlicensed Number Plate Users

The Deputy Western North Regional director for the Drivers and Vehicles License Authority (DVLA) Mr.Otoo has cautioned individuals driving with unlicenced number plates to desist from such unlawful acts, since their outfit is prepared to deal with the pepertrators of the illegal act.
In an interview with the press, he noted that, it's about time they clamp down the recalcitrant ones from the system and to ensure road users abide by the laws.
"We don't intend to arrest anyone but some drivers need to be punished. They are just stubborn and don't want to abide by the laws, so we need to deal with them", he reiterated.
Mr. Otoo reiterated that, police officers and other personalities are not exempted from any sort of punishment given to road offenders.
"We don't exempt any offender from facing the laws. Police officers and other security agencies are not above the laws. However, we are calling on all and sundry to be law abiding in order to avoid prosecution."
