Duadaso Youths will be unfair to NDC if they insist on their "No Roads No Vote agenda" - Communications officer cries out.

Some aggrieved Youths and residents of Duadaso No1 and No2 recently threatened to organize a massive demonstration against the political leaders within the Jaman North District on the poor state of the Duadaso roads and continue to boycott the 2024 general election should their roads remain unfixed before the electioneering period.

They revealed in an interview that their communities have been neglected in terms of development regardless of any political party that comes to power hence they have no beneficial reasons to persistently vote for these politicians without receiving any form of development.

Reacting to this decision by the people of Duadaso in an exclusive interview with Kwaku Mensah Abrampa of Gye Nyame FM, the Communications Officer of the NDC in the Jaman North District, Mr. Adu Joshua described their intention as unfair to the NDC indicating that he massively supports the Duadaso Concern Youths' decision to stage the massive demonstration against the ruling government for failing to fulfill his "Year of Roads promise" for the people of Jaman North but disagree with their plans to boycott the general elections and described it as unfair to NDC.

He indicated that the NDC as a political party ensured the provision of electricity to several communities in the Jaman North District which he said is a justification that leaders of the NDC are capable of delivering on their promises hence the youths must separately deal with NPP by voting them out and give a second chance to the NDC Member of Parliament and their presidential candidate by voting for them in their numbers to be able to rescue Duadaso from the mess they are going through as a result of what he described as poor governance from NPP.

Mr. Adu Joshus bared teeth on the Jaman North MP's critics denoting that all criticisms with regards to failure on the part of the government to deliver his promises must be leveled against the DCE, Honorable Solomon Owusu rather than the opposition MP, Honourable Ahenkwaa Yaw Frederick because the MP despite being an opposition MP has been accountable to his constituents by ensuring that all funds he accrues and the projects with which the funds are used for are made known to his constituents.

He added that the Member of Parliament has initiated a series of developmental projects in the district which include the construction of a CHPs compound in 3 different communities, a daily market, a football pitch, and other social intervention projects which denote the good work of the MP.

He has therefore stated that issues regarding Jaman North roads must not be leveled against the Jaman North MP because MP is not made to construct roads but to lobby for road construction.
