Dr Mahamudu Bawumia Looses Mother
The Burial of Hajia Mariama Bawumia is scheduled for Tuesday, September 14, 2021, in Walewale.

The Vice President of Ghana, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia has lost his mother.
The late Hajia Mariama Bawumia was born on September 15, 1939, and died at the age of 81.
The second gentleman of the land took to his facebook page on Monday, September 13, 2021 to announce the death of his mother whose death occured in Ghana's capital.
"Inna Lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji'un (Indeed to Allah we belong, and to Allah we shall return.) It is with great sadness that I announce the passing of my beloved mother Hajia Mariama Bawumia," Dr Bawumia wrote on his Facebook page.
"Hajia Mariama passed away peacefully this morning in Accra. Burial is scheduled for tomorrow, Tuesday, September 14, 2021, in Walewale.
"May the Almighty Allah grant her Jannatul Firdaus.
"H.E. ALHAJI DR. MAHAMUDU BAWUMIA,
"VICE PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC OF GHANA."
