Dormaahene Calls On President Akufo-Addo To Fix All Abandoned Deplorable Roads In Dormaa West

Osagyefo Oseadeeyo Agyemang Badu II decried the poor state of abandoned roads in the Dormaa West District, stressing that the the poor nature of the roads were negatively affecting economic activities in the area.

THE TRADITIONAL ruler of the Dormaa Traditional Area and President of the Bono Regional House of Chiefs, Osagyefo Oseadeeyo Agyemang Badu II, has called on the government of President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo to immediately do the needful to fix all the abandoned deplorable roads within the Dormaa West District of the region.
Osagyefo Oseadeeyo Agyemang Badu II decried the poor state of abandoned roads in the Dormaa West District, stressing that the the poor nature of the roads were negatively affecting economic activities in the area.
According to the Dormaahene, the nature of the roads stretch from the Diabaa to Nyameama through Brofoyedru-Ahenfiekrom-Nkrankwanta within the Dormaa West made life unbearable for the people and called on the government to intervene by way of fixing their roads to ensure rapid socio-economic development.
"We are pleading with the Bono Regional  Minister, Madam JUstina Owusu Banahene on behalf of President of Ghana to, as matter of urgency ensure that the government rewarded the construction of all the  abandoned deplorable roads within Dormaa West District to make easy movement of the people on these roads," the traditional rulers stressed.
 Osagyefo Oseadeeyo Agyemang Badu II made the call when he joined his people at Dormaa West for a clean up exercise in some of the communities such as Diabaa, Nyameama, Brofoyedru, Ahenfiekrom Nkrankwanta etc in Dormaa west.
This not the first time Osagyefo Oseadeyo Dr Agyeman Badu II has been engaging in such community activities. He has been known to organize clean up exercises in various townships within his traditional area.
The Dormaahene on his tour observed the state of Dormaa West especially on roads thus from Dormaa to Nkrankwanta and Nkrankwanta to Adabokrom.
For his part, the Chief of Nkrankwanta Baffour Agyei Akyea Akombi also thanked the Dormanhene for visiting them and advised his people to desist from throwing rubbers on  ground and make sure every body cleans their area always
