The residents of Donsesre, a farming community in the Sunyani East Municipality of the Bono region were today filled with joy when the Member of Parliament hopeful on the ticket of the National Democratic Congress commissioned a newly constructed borehole for the people.

The community folks explained that they share water with other domestic animals but currently have challenges with water when the dry season sets in.

Speaking at a small gathering to present the borehole to them, Mr Saed Mubarack said, the move forms part of his efforts to deliver to the needy communities in the municipality.

He indicated that the project was sponsored by Stay Focus Foundation, a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) through his lobbying skills and appealed to them for this project.

He promised to work with other NGOs to get more portable water for the rest of the community within the Municipality who are challenged with portable drinking water.

The Chief of the town, Nana Fosu Gyeabour expressed appreciation the to NDC Member of Parliament hopeful and noted that his kind gesture would help solve the numerous diseases the people have been battle with as a result of unsafe drinking water.

Some of the residents of the community expressed their appreciation to the NGO and Mr Saed Mubarack for their support.
