The Member of Parliament (MP) for Dormaa East Constituency in the Bono Region, Honourable Paul Apreku Twum-Barimah has encouraged prison officers to wholeheartedly do their best to reform people who have been incarcerated, therefore, care.
He therefore expressed worry over the conditions of prisoners put behind centres in Ghana's prison centers.
The MP who serves on Parliament Poverty Reduction Strategy Committee made this known after he presented chairs and fans to the Sunyani Central Female Prisons.
He further added an amount of three thousand Ghana cedis (3,000.00) to the inmates to refresh themselves during this Christmas festivities.
He therefore called on all and sundry to always comes to the aid of the prisoners to support them in the from of donation either in their feeding or any other means that they may need as an assistance.
