Bibiani Chief Condemns Military Brutalities and Shootings in the Bibiani Old Town.

The Chief of Bibiani, Nana Ayima Ngoa Kodom II, has condemned the military brutalities and shootings incidents that occurred on the 22nd September 2022 at Bibiani old town, a suburb of Bibiani Anhwiaso Bekwai Municipality in the Western North Region of Ghana.
Nana Ayima Ngoa Kodom II speaking to the media indicated that the military men who were assigned to undertake such an operation acted unprofessionally on their duties to harm the people in the area.
He said, such action by the military needs to be condemned and an independent investigation committee should be conducted into the shooting spree and brutalities that occurred in the town to harm the civilians with military weapons.
Adding that, anybody who may be found culpable should not be allowed to go score free after the investigations.
Nana Ayima Ngoa Kodom II on the other hand advise Mensin Gold Bibiani Ltd to settle issues in a form of dialogue with the community instead of using the military men to intimidate the people, especially the youth and if it continues in this way will likely destroy the good relationship between the community and the company.
He, therefore, said, his doors are always open to handle every issue about the mining company and that of the people.
