The Deputy Minister of information, Madam Fatima Abu-Bakr has condemned the clashes between the Military and some Ejura folks which led to the death of two youth in Ejura.

Speaking on the President’s Press release and decision to set up a committee of enquiry into the incidence which took the life of Ibrahim Mohammed ‘KAAKA’ and its brouhaha, she extended her condolence to the bereaved family and called on the youth and people of the area to remain calm as the president is a man of his words and will see to it that justice is served to KAAKA.,

She added that pressing security issues of this nature demands public enquiry which will take the committee not less than 10-days to bring their findings to the president for the next step to be taken. Madam Fatima was hopeful that justice will be given devoid of any political influence.

She however called on the family of the late KAAKA to desist from giving contradictory accounts to the media as it will consequent on the enquiry process.

She said “the best thing to do now is to allow comprehensive investigations to take charge of the issue which the committee set by the president aims at and assured that latest by 9th of July 1, 2021, the findings from the incident will be presented to the president.
